The Story Behind the Saree:
This is a Kalamkari Sari. It has been done in the Srikalahasti style of Andhra Pradesh, where the "kalam" or pen has been used for freehand drawing nature in all its glory all over the Sari. The Tree of Life, the Paisley & Flowers have then been coloured with natural dyes extracted from Myrobalam leaves, Indigo, Madder root, Pomegranate peel, Iron & Jaggery give it its deep earthy tones. This beautiful sari was made by Shri. J.Niranjan, a renowned Kalamkari artisan from India. .
Wash care instructions: Gentle hand wash in cold water with mild detergent .Dry in shade
